An £80 million plan to provide 1,200 homes and a new park on the former British United Shoe Machinery factory site. Forms part of the significant Abbey Meadows regeneration area.

The Digital Media Centre is to be located close to the new Leicester Performing Arts Centre. A further addition to the rapidly growing Cultural Quarter in St George's.
Leicester Market Square
The largest covered market in Europe. The market occupies a central site in Leicester, surrounded by some very fine architecture. All these buildings are hidden from view by a modern roof covering the stalls. Plans are afoot to at least remove this roof and possibly the market itself. This would leave a large open square for multiple uses.

A complete overhaul for the campus located next to Victoria Park, on the southern fringes of the city centre. Plans amount to £300 million pounds worth of investment, including a new £25 million library.
